The things most people ask us in their first consultation.
No. We work alongside your primary care and specialists. MECCA focuses on prevention, performance and healthy aging — deeper testing, longer appointments and continuity between visits. We share records with your existing team whenever you'd like us to.
Week one is diagnostics. Week three is a ninety-minute physician review where we walk through every result together and agree on a plan. The following weeks are implementation with your care team, and we retest the markers that matter at the twelve-week mark.
When they are clinically indicated, appropriate for you, and part of a broader plan — yes. When they are not, we say so. Medication is one tool among many, and it is never the starting point of a MECCA plan.
A panel of results is not care. Every MECCA plan is built, explained and adjusted by a licensed physician who knows your history, and we take responsibility for what happens after the numbers arrive.
Membership is paid directly. Many diagnostics and prescriptions can be billed to insurance or reimbursed through an HSA or FSA, and we provide the documentation to make that straightforward.
Your named physician authors and owns your plan. Between visits you work with our nursing team for phlebotomy, infusions, follow-up and day-to-day questions. You can meet everyone on the Medical Team page.
Yes. Diagnostics and body composition require an in-clinic visit, but consultations, results reviews and follow-ups can be held by secure video wherever you are.
